Hi, I’m Yuchun Santory, founder of Santory Design. For over 30 years, I’ve worked hands-on in nearly every part of the building process—from swinging hammers and managing crews to estimating costs and drafting permit-ready plans. This isn’t just a career for me—it’s a craft I’ve honed through thousands of hours in the field and behind the desk.

Santory Design exists because I believe every great home starts with a builder’s mindset, not just a designer’s vision. I draw on my experience as a construction manager, estimator, and architectural designer to create custom plans that are beautiful, buildable, and code-compliant from day one.

My Process

Designing a custom home shouldn't feel overwhelming. I’ve built my process around listening carefully, asking the right questions, and turning your ideas into functional, buildable realities.

Whether you’re a homeowner, contractor, or developer, I work side-by-side with you to understand your needs, style, and budget. The result is a home design that fits not just your lot—but your life.

I don't hand off cookie-cutter templates. I build each plan with the same care and attention I’d give if I were constructing it myself.

Fast, Honest Turnaround

While many firms are booked out 3–4 months just to start, I aim to deliver in 6–8 weeks on average. I believe in doing it right the first time—so you can move forward with confidence, not delays.

• 🏗️ 25+ years managing residential and commercial builds—from 500+ custom homes to multi-unit developments

• 🖥️ Skilled in AutoCAD, Excel-based cost databases, and modern drafting workflows

• 💬 Proud to work almost entirely through referrals and trusted industry relationships

Why I Do This

I started Santory Design because I saw too many plans that looked good on paper but didn’t work in the field. My goal is to bridge that gap—to design homes that builders respect, inspectors approve, and clients love for generations.
